The mobile app market is a multibillion market, with estimates from Statista projecting upwards of $935 billion in gross revenue by 2023. This includes profits from all sorts of apps, from games and productivity apps to meditation and fitness apps. The allure of the market has led many to start their own app business, hoping to become part of the 25% of app developers who generate over $5000 in passive income each month. However, this has led to a very saturated market, with new games being released every day. This may make it hard to figure out just what to play – beyond the super popular titles like Genshin Impact and Granblue Fantasy. As such, we’ve made a list of great games you might have missed, and may want to try:
Emergent Fates
Developer: Megaphemeral
Available on: iOS
Emergent Fates is a colorful RPG game inspired by classic Japanese titles like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest. Game creator Chris Daviduik shares that the story’s focus is on finding identity and purpose in a world where your fate has already been decided. In the game you’ll assume the role of a young knight, and explore an overworld map, meet and recruit party members, and participate in turn-based battles. Emergent Fates offers a fairly simplistic game play, and has a stylish and good-looking watercolor world that looks straight out of a comic book.
It is free to download in the App Store, but offers in-app purchases.
