An exclusive interview with Rick Fox, owner of NA LCS Team Echo Fox was released today where he laid out his heart for his team and his players. Back on December 18th Rick Fox bought out Gravity Gaming, renaming it to Echo Fox. Their newly announced LCS roster included Korean solo laner KFO and renowned EU Mid laner Froggen, who played alongside Challenger players Keith, Baby, and Hard.
Unfortunately, visa problems prevented KFO, Froggen and Hard from competing in the majority of the games during the Spring split, resulting in Echo Fox competing with a substitute roster for six of their competitive games. Echo Fox officially placed seventh, going 6-12, but with their full line up their record was 6-6.
Going into the Summer split, Rick Fox is much more optimistic and has nothing but praise for his players. In week four of the Summer split, with their full team ready for action, Echo Fox is currently placed at eighth with a 1-5 record. It remains to be seen if these underdogs can become the champions their warm hearted owner dreams of them being, but they’ll have the chance to prove themselves in their matches this weekend against TSM, Apex, Team Envy, and NRG.
Be sure to catch the NA LCS games every weekend, starting on Fridays at 5pm PST. For more LCS news, stay tuned to GameSinners. Happy playing!
