One of the biggest games set to arrive for the Switch this year is Kirby: Star Allies, and now Nintendo has revealed when everyone can expect to play it. The company announced that the game will release on March 16th, while also making the surprise announcement that a demo for the game is available now through the eShop.
We also got some new information on the game via the announcement, which included a new “Artist” ability that allows Kirby to get a little creative, as well as the new “Spider” ability that lets him capture enemies in webs. The pink blob also has the ability to hurl friend hearts at enemies, winning them over and joining his team. A multiplayer mode will also allow up to four players to team up and combine Kirby’s abilities with ally abilities for powerful new Friend abilities. However, additional accessories are required for the multiplayer mode that are sold separately.
Kirby: Star Allies will launch exclusively for the Switch on March 16th. Be sure to give the demo a shot if you’re a Switch owner, and stay tuned for more news on the game as it becomes available as we inch closer to its March launch.
