Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come Deliverance wasn’t the most well-received game at launch, but it nevertheless has been a big success with fans. The developer just released the 1.3 update yesterday for the PC version of the game, but the developer is already hard at work on the 1.4 update to optimize the game even further.
This information was revealed on Twitter via the studio’s co-founder and creative director, Daniel Vávra. Vávra said that “We are already working on 1.4 that will hopefully improve performance on PC among other things.”
Furthermore, when someone asked whether or not the patch would make any improvements for the console versions of the game, Vávra responded with “Maybe, but less visible. We made some mistakes in ultra settings that were added in a hurry, so will fix those. Also we will optimize multicore CPU support, which is already fine on consoles.”
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with the game releasing on February 13th. The game received generally favorable reviews overall, though many critics brought up the game’s numerous technical issues as the main fault. However, the developer has been hard at work trying to get all of the issues ironed, and the game has made some notable progress on that front already. We’ll be sure to bring you more information on the patch notes for the 1.4 update as soon as it becomes available.
