Project Nimbus: Code Mirai is set to be coming to PS4 very soon, with Game Tomo announcing today that the game will be coming to Sony’s platform on November 21. The game launched for PC in September of this year, and received generally positive reviews despite largely going under the radar.
For those wanting more information on the game, the following is an overview from the PC version’s Steam page:
“Project Nimbus is a high speed mech action game set in a post apocalyptic world. Players control ‘BattleFrames’ – humanoid battles suits armed with an arsenal of weapons.
This is a mech game that lets you fly freely in the sky, dodge and intercept incoming missiles with machine guns, fight armies of hostiles with every kind of modern weapon you can imagine, Battle against numerous powerful colossal opponents with the power to annihilate armies, engage with many ace BattleFrame pilots, each has unique fighting styles and stories.”
Despite coming out relatively quickly after the PC version, there will be some improvements featured in the PS4 version. These include the likes of improved visuals, adjusted balancing, new actions and a completely rebuilt user interface. The following is a list of key features:
- Missions set throughout 16 different locations, including sky city, sea fort, mountain base, giant prison, and space stages.
- Various mecha and weapons, including smart missiles, laser blades, particle canons, floating laser shields, rail guns, and auto-attacking and defending psycho drones.
- A grandeur story of an ace pilot set on a future earth destroyed by war, where a battle between three factions will unfold.
- Eye-catching combat style with transforming giant mecha, daredevil pilots, and battles against armed flying boats.
Project Nimbus: Code Mirai will launch for PlayStation 4 on November 21.
