NVIDIA recently teased a Collector’s Edition of their TITAN Xp graphics card, with many believing that it would be an enhanced version of the card. Well, it turns out that most were wrong, as it has been revealed as being a Star Wars collectible, featuring both Galactic Empire and Jedi Order variations for Star Wars fans to swoon over.
As for what’s new in this TITAN Xp Collector’s Edition, it features an updated design along with red or green lighting representing the two sides of Star Wars. A promo for the new graphics card was also released, which you can watch for yourself at the bottom of this post.
For those who were wondering if the specs would be any different, it has been revealed that they are actually exactly the same. Also, the price has remained the same, with it costing $1,200. Thus, if you were planning on getting a TITAN Xp and happen to be a Star Wars fan, then this new version is officially the superior one.
For those unfamiliar with the TITAN Xp’s specs, it has 3840 cores with 547.7 GB/s worth of bandwidth for about 142.6 MB/s/core. It also packs 12.15 TFLOPS of compute power and 12 GB GDDRfX. It’s certainly an impressive card and should handle your gaming needs nicely, and for Star Wars fans it will definitely be able to run the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2.
