L.A. Noire is making a comeback later this year in the form of a Remastered version, and those planning to play the game on Xbox One have been given the file size. The Xbox Marketplace has revealed the game’s file size, which is listed as a pretty reasonable 17.08 GB.
L.A. Noire originally launched in 2011, but this remaster will be completely overhauling the visuals and resolution. The following is an overview of what Xbox One (and PS4, for that matter) gamers will see improved with this remaster:
“L.A. Noire for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One delivers the complete original game and all additional downloadable content with a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, including enhanced lighting and clouds, new cinematic camera angles, high resolution textures and more. L.A. Noire plays natively in 1080p for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, and stunning 4K for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, capturing the grit and grime of the City of Angels like never before.”
For those who are unfamiliar with the game, it is a neo-noir detective action adventure game developed by Team Bondi. The following is a plot synopsis:
“Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood’s Golden Age, Cole Phelps is an LAPD detective thrown headfirst into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is rampant, the drug trade is exploding, and murder rates are at an all-time high. In his fight to climb the ranks and do what’s right, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a string of arson attacks, racketeering conspiracies and brutal murders, battling the L.A. underworld and even members of his own department to uncover a secret that could shake the city to its rotten core.”
L.A. Noire is set to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and HTC Vive on November 14.
