Both of the Resident Evil Revelations games will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this year, both as standalone releases and as a bundle. The bundle is simply called Resident Evil Revelations Collection, and now that collection’s box art has officially been revealed.
The box art has been revealed through several retailers, but you can check out the image from Amazon right here. Despite it initially looking like they just used the box art from Revelations 2, they actually merged the box arts from both games into a new image. It’s definitely creepy looking, which is just about all you can ask for in a horror game box art.
Despite this being listed as a collection of both of the games, it actually doesn’t contain both games in physical form. The collection includes the first game on a disc, but the second game must be downloaded through a voucher code that is included in the case. For those unfamiliar with these games, the following is a breakdown of the features:
- Survival horror makes it way to the Nintendo Switch with this 2 game collection featuring Resident Evil Revelations and a downloadable voucher for Resident Evil Revelations 2
- Resident Evil Revelations features Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield as they investigate an abandoned cruise ship where terror lurks around every corner
- Resident Evil Revelations 2 features 2 separate, but intertwined storylines featuring Claire Redfield and Barry Burton as they find themselves on an abandoned prison island
- The fan favorite Raid Mode is available in both titles and is packed with solo/co-op content to keep players running and gunning for hours on end
- All previous add-ons and DLC are included for both titles
Resident Evil Revelations Collection will launch on November 28th and will cost $39.99.
There are still more big things on the horizon for Resident Evil later this year, as the critically-acclaimed Resident Evil 7 will be getting a Gold Edition this December. That will include the base game along with all of the DLC, which will also include the brand new End of Zoe DLC that will be releasing as a standalone paid DLC on the same day. The long-awaited Not a Hero DLC will also be launching on the same day, but that DLC will be available to download for free for everyone.
