Warhorse Studios has released a new trailer for their upcoming RPG called Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and it does a little more than show off the game’s cinematics and story. At the end of the video we get to see the game’s official release date that the devs were teasing recently, which is February 13th, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The game puts you in control of a character named Henry, who is the son of a blacksmith. Henry’s life is suddenly turned upside down as he witnesses King Sigismund’s mercenaries burn his village to the ground, killing his parents in the process. Being one of the few survivors of the massacre, Henry decides to seek revenge over the destruction of his village and the death of his parents. The following is a breakdown of the what the game has to offer:
- Massive realistic open world: Majestic castles, vast fields, all rendered in stunning high-end graphics.
- Non-linear story: Solve quests in multiple ways, then face the consequences of your decisions.
- Challenging combat: Distance, stealth, or melee. Choose your weapons and execute dozens of unique combos in battles that are as thrilling as they are merciless.
- Character development: Choose your equipment, improve your skills and earn new perks.
- Dynamic world: Your actions influence the reactions of the people around you. Fight, steal, seduce, threaten, persuade, or bribe. It’s all up to you.
- Historical accuracy: Meet real historical characters and experience the genuine look and feel of medieval Bohemia.
It’s possible that we’ll be getting even more information on the game during E3 next week, though it remains to be seen during which of the big briefings it would be a part of. If it does end up getting shown, then you can be sure that we’ll bring you the latest information as soon as it becomes available. Check out the new trailer for the game below.
