Tonight, K-pop band BTS joined The Late Late Show with James Corden for Carpool Karaoke. The recurring bit has featured dozens of singers and celebrities at this point, from Adele to First Lady Michelle Obama. It’s even gone on to create its own show, Carpool Karaoke: The Series, which airs on Apple TV. James Corden faced some controversy recently over his involvement, thanks to behind-the-scenes video that caught him not actually driving the car while filming. However, Corden reassured fans that he does drive in the majority of Carpool Karaoke segments.
The Late Late Show has been teasing BTS’ appearance on Carpool Karaoke since last week, revealing photos and a teaser video. This has caused the hashtag #BTSCarpoolTONIGHT to trend worldwide thanks to BTS’ global appeal. Luckily, fans didn’t have to wait long into the show to see BTS take on Carpool Karaoke, as the segment aired early on. The nearly 17-minute video shows them singing along to a surprising number of hits, before ending up in a dance class. Check out the full BTS Carpool Karaoke video below:

BTS is currently promoting their Map of the Soul: 7 album, which was just released on February 21. On the same day, the band also shared their lead single from the new album, titled “On.” To promote both the album and single, BTS appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night, even filming a video in Grand Central Station. It was part of a highly-publicized late night takeover by BTS. They’ll soon go on a global tour, starting this spring in their home of South Korea. But before that, they likely brought some extra viewers to The Late Late Show With James Corden thanks to their Carpool Karaoke appearance.
