SWAE Pushes the Limits of Material Sciences and 3D Printing with the First in a Series of Exotic Vehicles Made for Adventure
March 1, 2020 (FLATHEAD VALLEY, MT) — The thrill of driving the open road is an unparalleled experience. With the right car, a sense of adventure, and a propensity for pushing expectations – anything is possible. SWAE, a new company that taps into the potential of custom vehicles to create once in a lifetime experiences, elevates that passion for exploration with their introductory design, a stunning first of its kind carbon fiber widebody McLaren 720S.
Unveiled this weekend in Miami, the SWAE 720S utilizes cutting edge material sciences to create an elite class of exotic car made for unlocking the spirit of adventure. Conceived as a proof of concept for testing bleeding edge capabilities of 3D printing, the SWAE 720S further is an initial exploration of how technologies at the forefront of automotive innovation can unlock otherwise unattainable experiences. With an estimated price of just under $500,000, the first of its kind vehicle will be on display in Miami at Prestige Imports.
“SWAE operates in a space beyond luxury — enhancing each caliber of craftsmanship to create a sum greater than its parts. Our edict compels us to chase dreams at all costs, something we will do with the sharing of breathtaking adventures and automobiles,” comments SWAE Director of Operations Rosie Wolkind. “We aspire for excellence in every moment and believe perfection can never be presumed. Through new experiences and vehicles for innovation, we plan to test the limits of our potential.”
Characterized by elevated design that artfully incorporates state-of-the-art elements; craft and performance are at the forefront of the SWAE 720S. Twill carbon fiber establishes a unique diagonal pattern across the vehicle’s exterior, providing a sense of movement in the rare moments the car stands still. Incredibly versatile, this unique carbon fiber fabric is extremely pliable and adaptive, forming complex contours around the vehicle frame while increasing strength and stability. The result is complete harmony in the relationship between form and function. Made possible through the latest innovations in 3D printing and engineering, SWAE worked closely with partner 1016 Industries to make this groundbreaking body kit a reality.
The SWAE 720S also features an exclusive performance tune to enhance the vehicle’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8. When combined with lightweight exterior elements, the special edition 720S can produce more than 900 whp, a stunning increase from the stock vehicle’s 698 whp. Additional features include custom 10-spoke wheels incorporating the distinctive SWAE logo alongside a modified exhaust with stainless steel cat delete pipes. This special edition 720S is also equipped with the first-ever 3D printed titanium wing supports mounted to the car, an intricate process that required intensive design validation.
SWAE will be presenting the bespoke twill carbon fiber 720S to highlight the company’s capabilities in the high-performance exotic category, with several other adventure-oriented vehicles in the works for future releases. For more information on SWAE vehicles, please inquire at email@example.com.
