Xiaomi seems to be out of control. The Chinese company doesn’t rest for a minute, it keeps unleashing smartphone after smartphone on us. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and the Redmi Pro 2 aren’t even out yet, and rumor already has it that the company is preparing to launch the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. This will be the company’s flagship phone of the year, and boy, does it sound great based on the leaked specs. According to rumors, it will be a 5.7-inch monster with a great deal of power under the hood and some incredibly high-end features. We might see it as soon as next month.
The recent reports state that the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will sport a 5.7-inch Samsung OLED display. It seems that it will be a curved one, similar to the Galaxy S8’s infinity display. Whether it will have the same almost inexistent bezels or not, remains to be seen. However, we expect them to be quite thin, if not inexistent. Xiaomi will probably keep the top and the bottom bezels, but that’s about it. On the mi Mix 2, it will even give up the top bezel and remain only with the bottom one, which houses the home button.
Under the hood, the 5.7-inch Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with an Adreno 540 GPU. The handset will most likely come in two versions. One of them will offer 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, while the other will impress with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. This is quite astonishing, we must admit. Also, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will run on the latest version of Google’s Android operating system and it will offer the newest MIUI 9 version on top of it. Basically, it will pack all the recent features a smartphone can have.
Naturally, to keep up with the latest trends, the Xiaomi mi Note3 will feature a dual rear camera setup. Although there is no official information regarding the sensor size of these cameras, it seems to be certain that the camera setup will be able to deliver high-quality images. The front-facing selfie camera will probably have an 8MP sensor, possibly even a more impressive one. All of these features would be worth nothing without a great battery. Rumor has it that the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will pack a 4,070mAh one, which should be more than enough to take users through the day on a single charge. The handset will also offer fast charging support.
As for the availability and pricing, it seems that we won’t have to wait too much longer to get our hands on the Xiaomi Mi Note 3. It will probably launch next month and become available for purchase soon after. The 6GB of RAM version will reportedly cost $599. Customers will need to pay $100 more for the extra 2GB of RAM and the double storage. Given the fact that the launch date approaches fast, we will certainly find out more about the device soon. Stay tuned and we will let you know everything there is to know about the Xiaomi Mi Note 3.
