The Mana series is one of the more celebrated action role playing game series ever released. The second entry of the series, known as Secret of Mana in North America and Europe, is still considered as one of the best 16-bit action role playing games thanks to its charming world and engaging gameplay experience. No new entry of the series has been released on home consoles in recent times but the latest smartphone entry called Rise of Mana has shown how Square Enix still knows how to make a compelling Mana game.
A few months ago Rise Of Mana has received additional content taken from the third entry of the series, Seiken Densetsu 3. This special event allowed players to take on some of the game’s villains. A new event starting today adds even more content based on the classic role playing game.
The new Rise Of Mana Seiken Densetsu 3 special event allows players to fight two of the main characters of the SNES game, Duran and Angela. Defeating the two characters allows players to obtain some interesting rewards such as the Sword of Loki and more. A few screenshots have also been shared, showing how the classic characters look like in the new game. You can find them right below.
Another entry of the Mana series is currently in development for PlayStation Vita. The game will be a remake of the original Seiken Densetsu game which has been released as Final Fantasy Adventure in the West. If this remake goes well, remakes of other entries of the series may also be released, according to the publisher.
Rise Of Mana is now available in Japan on smartphones and PlayStation Vita. The game hasn’t been released West and things don’t look too good at the moment. Still, we will let you know if anything changes about the Rise Of Mana Western release as soon as more comes in on the matter so stay tuned for all the latest news.
