Blood Bowl 2 will be releasing DLC for the PC, Mac and consoles late July, providing players with a new undead team, alongside their own Starplayers, showcased today in some screenshots with glance at some deadly players. Now is the perfect time to grab yourself a copy, currently on sale on Steam with 60% off until the 4th of July. Moreover, buyers of the game will still benefit from the Founder’s Incentive, receiving the Undead, Necromantic and Nurgles teams for free just as long as they managed to buy the game before the races release. So there doesn’t seem to be a reason why not to jump in and give it a go!
Players on PC and Mac will also be treated with a beta including the undead team DLC next week alongside a whole load of updates and improvements. Be sure to follow the Blood Bowl team on Facebook and Twitter to get all your latest information.
For those of you who have not yet had a chance to play Blood Bowl 2, it is an insane mashup between Warhammer and American football, in a hilarious culmination of turn-based strategy and pure brutality.
The Undead Team
The Undead Team will have the ability to regenerate, making them extremely tough and a difficult kill. Moreover the Ghouls and Wights will be agile and swift, and the mummy teammates while rather uncoordinated, remain a fearsome force to reckon with.
The Undead team will also have two new Star players amongst them: Ramtut III, the brutal and terrifying mummy has spent lifetimes in the game, being truly experienced player and someone not to mess around with. Morg n’ Thorg, has faced off with Ramtut before, and hence has become his sworn enemy and rival. Finally, don’t be fooled by Count Luthor Von Drakenborg’s classy name, as he will destroy other players with his Hypnotic Gaze ability, alongside showing off some truly impressive stats, making him one of the most powerful players yet.
So prepare yourselves for some death defying gameplay, and if you have put down Blood Bowl for a while, now would be a good time to raise it from the graveyard section of your steam or console library and reap football havoc. See you on the pitch!
