NieR: Automata has received its first DLC today, which is called 3C3C1D119440927. The bizarrely-titled DLC also contains some equally-bizarre content, including the ability to fight the CEOs of PlatinumGames and Square Enix. This is shown off in a new launch trailer, which you can check out at the bottom of this post.
Players will be able to battle Square Enix boss Yosuke Matsuda and PlatinumGames CEO Kenichi Sato through the new colosseum challenges, with new cosmetics and music also being added. The DLC’s official description says “The NieR: Automata 3C3C1D119440927 DLC features three new colosseums to challenge, plus additional sub-quests. Upon completion of these quests, players can earn various rewards including new costumes from NieR: Replicant, new equipment and cosmetic accessories such as masks, hairspray that change the color of your character, records that add special music tracks to the players’ jukebox and much more!”

It was most recently revealed that NieR: Automata would be getting a costume in Gravity Rush 2, which is coming to the game for free in a few days. The content will be added to the game on May 5th, allowing Gravity Rush 2 players to don the outfit worn by NieR: Automata’s 2B.
NieR: Automata is available for PlayStation 4 and PC, with the game launching in March of this year. The game has received critical acclaim for its gameplay, narrative and visuals, making it a must-play game in a year with no shortage of those.
