Rockstar has announced that its latest expansion to the GTA Online universe will be its new (and in typical Rockstar fashion, outrageously named) Cunning Stunts pack and it will be released July 12th. The new expansion pack completely re-vamps the online game world into an Evel Knievel style derby – complete with stun ramps, loop-the-loops, boost pads, and of course gigantic bowling pins to collide with.

On Rockstar’s official news page, there is some detail on the expansion: revealing that new “super cars, sports cars and motorbikes” will feature, alongside new personalisation options for your character like “appropriately tatted and dressed drivers, sporting new motocross gear, racing suits, helmets and host of other additions.”
The format of the expansion will facilitate new game modes. There will be new Stunt Races that will incorporate the crazed and over-the-top new set up. These races will also be divided into different classes relating to the kind of vehicles that players will use. So, for instance, you can’t enter into a motorbike race with a suped-up muscle car – or vice versa.
The news will no-doubt be cause for celebration amongst Grand Theft Auto V’s online community, although it does of course prompt questions that have been lingering for some time now about any single-player DLC episodes, such as we were treated to with GTA IV.
