Red Dead Redemption is backward compatible on Xbox One now. Also, Halo Wars, Left 4 Dead and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night could be coming soon.
A user on NeoGAF showed how he can now install the Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption on his Xbox One console. This is only the digital version that currently works so disc owners may have to wait a bit longer. It should be noted it isn’t clear if the process of downloading the game is a violation of Microsoft’s Terms of Service.
To date, Red Dead Redemption has sold over 14 million copies. It looks like Rockstar or Microsoft will have to make an announcement soon regarding the game. Another NeoGAF user also found out that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will be on their way to the console soon. We will keep a look out for any news regarding the games.
The Xbox One compatibility service has been very successful, and we have recently had a few more games added that include Counter-Strike, Soulcalibur and The Witcher 2.
