The holiday season may have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t get some absolutely awesome deals on gaming stuff. A current deal that is going on right now is offering an Xbox One bundled with Gears of War Ultimate Edition for just $280, though there are a limited amount of bundles so if you’re interested act quickly. The deal is being offered via Ebay account antonline, which is an authorized Microsoft dealer with over 150,000 transactions on record. This deal is even better than the deal that was offered for Black Friday, which cut the Xbox One’s price down to $300.
The Xbox One currently goes for $350 after the latest price drop that took place last Summer. The console originally launched with a whopping $500 price tag, though Microsoft elected to nix the bundled Kinect device to shave $100 off the price pretty quickly. It’s unknown if any other permanent price drops are planned for the console at this time, though if it does happen the announcement would likely come around the time of E3 2016. The Kinect itself currently goes for around $120 as a standalone purchase, though Microsoft has done very little with it due to the fact that fans have shown little to no interest in using it.
While the Xbox One prices keep getting cheaper and cheaper, it certainly isn’t in an effort to make up for sagging console sales. It was recently revealed that the Xbox One had a record-breaking year for sales in 2015, with its current sales total being a substantial amount higher than the highly-successful Xbox 360 sales were at this same point in time. 2016 is promising to be an even better year for the console, as Microsoft has gone on record saying that they have the best games lineup of all-time ready to go for this year.
