Star Wars the Old Republic has seen its share of miserable times. Like any MMO it will constantly have its ups and downs. Lately the game has been quite up with the release of Patch 4.0. The patch itself did some rather cool stuff such as making all the fast travel points entirely available, raised the level cap to 65, and even made a jump to level 60.
All of this and they introduced a new “expansion” called Knights of the Fallen. Chapters to the new expansion will be released as the Dev team sees fit but as of now Chapter 10 will be the first and it is a dozy. Aside from obviously fixing the overwhelming bugs and glitches a game of this magnitude has, Star Wars the Old Republic will also be adding a new companion to your group called Firebrand.
Firebrand is your latest ally and an infamous mercenary with a grudge against the Eternal Throne. Her mission is to destroy the Eternal Empire by attacking Zakuul and in the process crushing the seat of power, the Eternal Throne, by any means necessary. If she seems like a total bad ass, that is because she is. A worthy member to your budding crew as you shoot across the Galaxy now fighting the Eternal Throne. Players who have previously left the game may want to come back just to at the least check out some of the new content. While new players will have a fantasist time getting to know the world.
As of right now Star Wars the Old Republic is entirely free to play, although it would benefit a player to subscribe. Unlike most titles of this kind the game is surprisingly not a pay to win format and it makes it perfect for the casual gamer and hardcore gamer alike.
