When Sony’s PS5 game console launches on Nov. 12, it will feature a newly designed media center that introduces the Apple TV app. That app will also be available on the PS4.As opposed to current entertainment streaming on the PS4, the new media center won’t require you to download each app separately. Instead, it will automatically include major streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney Plus and, now, Apple TV. Spotify, Twitch and YouTube apps will be there on day one as well. Apps for Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and Peacock are coming too, though it’s unclear from the announcement whether they’ll be there automatically for PS5’s launch. Sony made no mention of HBO Max.
