We’ve already gotten our fair share of great smartphones this year, and thankfully, more are on the way. While the majority of us only focus on high-end devices, that get a lot of publicity, we shouldn’t forget about the mid-range handsets either, as, to be honest, these are the ones the majority of us actually can afford. The upcoming Huawei P20 Lite is one of the handsets that promises to offer a lot for its price. The manufacturing company will reportedly launch it on March 27, alongside the more powerful Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. Chinese smartphone users might actually get the same handset a week earlier. According to the latest reports, Huawei is going to launch the Nova 3e on March 20 in China, and it is, in fact, the same device we now know as the Huawei P20 Lite.
The information is confirmed by the first images of a poster announcing the Huawei Nova 3e. Even a blind man can see that the Nova 3e looks exactly the same as the Huawei P20 Lite will if we are to believe the images that recently surfaced. It’s safe to assume that the design won’t be the only thing the Huawei Nova 3e and the P20 Lite will have in common. They will most likely share the same features too, at least that is what different sources tell us.
In this case, the Huawei Nova 3e will have the same Full HD screen as the P20 Lite, and the same camera notch that reminds everyone so much of the Apple iPhone X. Under the hood, users will most likely find the same HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset too, paired with the same amount of memory and storage, namely 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. Naturally, the dual rear camera setup consisting of a 16MP sensor and a 2MP one will also be a common feature of the two smartphones.
The Huawei P20 Lite will reportedly cost €370. It’s not quite clear whether the Nova 3e will have the same price tag or a slightly different one. It’s not really clear why the manufacturing company would launch the same handset with two different monikers either, however, the Huawei Nova 3e won’t be the first smartphone to have a distinct name and exactly the same features as another model from different regions. March 20 is just around the corner and then we will probably find out more about the matter.
