Recent rumors suggested that Huawei fans in the US might be able to get the Huawei mate 10 Pro through at least one carrier. Now, it seems that the partnership between the Chinese and AT&T fell through. Other carriers will not offer the Huawei mate 10 Pro either. Even so, the smartphone manufacturer announced that US customers will still be able to purchase the handset through the open channel. Huawei thinks that “U.S. customers need a better choice, and as a leader in technology and innovation, Huawei is prepared to fill this need”.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro was welcomed by many and disconsidered by others. The smartphone’s design is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, however, it is something different and many Huawei fans love it. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is also quite a powerful handset. It dons a 6-inch Full HD+ display and it is IP67 certified. Under the hood, it hides a Kirin 970 octa-core chipset and it includes up to 6GB of RAM. To be more specific, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro comes in two storage variants, one of them including 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage while the other one offers 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage.
The Leica- branded primary camera setup of the smartphone consists of a 16MP sensor and a 20MP one. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera. As for the battery, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro comes with a huge, 4,000mAh energy pack that will certainly not have any problems in taking users through the day on a single charge. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro supports fast-charging, so users will not need to spend hours charging their smartphone’s battery. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro also features a USB Type-C connector and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The only thing that disappoints in the Mate 10 Pro is the lack of the microSD card slot. Then again, 64GB of internal storage is more than enough for the majority of smartphone users.
