Flexible displays are not necessarily news anymore. We’ve seen this type of screens before, and we will probably see them in the years to come also. LG is one of the companies that invested a lot of work in delivering the best flexible display possible. The 65-inch UHD rollable LG OLED display the company decided to amaze us with will be showcased at CES 2018 this week. The LG OLED display is not simply flexible, users will be able to roll it up like a newspaper. Needless to say, this makes it one of the most portable screens we’ve ever seen. Also, it is incredibly easy to store. Users just need to roll it up and place it in any corner of their homes. The 65-inch rollable LG OLED display offers ultra HD resolution, so the images displayed on this screen will be amazingly clear, despite its flexibility.
While the 65-inch rollable UHD LG OLED display could easily become the star of the event, it has some serious competition too. At CES 2018 LG will also showcase a brand new 88-inch 8K OLED display that will definitely impress even the most critical people. Also, LG managed to further perfect its Crystal Sound OLED technology. This technology makes speakers completely obsolete, as it emanates sound directly from the OLED panel.
Besides the 65-inch UHD rollable LG OLED display and the 88-inch 8K display, LG will also show off a 55-inch transparent display and a 77-inch wallpaper OLED TV display. There will be some impressive new computer monitors and Art Glass displays for TVs too showcased at CES 2018. The new LG products will certainly blow our minds as they all use innovative technology and offer a great user experience. Unfortunately, it’s not quite clear when the general public will gain access to these products and how expensive they will be. One thing is sure, they won’t be cheap devices to buy.
