We all know Samsung as being one of the most popular electronics manufacturers. Thankfully, that is not all there is to Samsung. The company recently announced that it developed an app that will finally change the way people with Color Vision Deficiency watch TV. The app is meant to set the colors on Samsung’s QLED TVs so that they best suit the user’s needs. The app, called SeeColors is compatible with all of the company’s QLED TVs. Thanks to this app, people who suffer from color blindness can finally enjoy watching TV, just as much as the rest of us do.
The app basically helps users to diagnose their personal visual deficiencies through the app.ased on the results of the diagnosing process, QLED TVs will adjust the color settings on the display. This way, those with color vision deficiency will have the most accurate colors displayed for them on their TVs. The app will always calibrate the colors exactly according to the needs of the user. The level of CVD can differ a lot from one person to another. The SeeColors app by Samsung will identify exactly the type and level of CVD one suffers of. Then, it can recalibrate the colors in order for the user to get the best visual experience possible from their QLED TV.
Of course, this can be a problem, when there are multiple users of the same TV. There is a high chance that not all of them have exactly the same type and level of CVD. In this case, one of them will get the best result, while the other will have to settle for less. Then again, this is a minor inconvenience, considering the problem the app solves. People with color vision deficiency can finally enjoy the best experience TVs now have to offer. And we all know how much they have evolved in the past few years.
The SeeColors app is available for download from the Smart TV App store. Users can diagnose themselves even with the help of their Samsung Galaxy smartphones. in this case, they can download the app from Google Play and the Galaxy App Store. After diagnosing themselves, users only need to connect their smartphone to their QLED TV in order for it to make the necessary color adjustments.
