Xiaomi is definitely trying to become one of the most popular smartphone manufacturers. Besides launching some truly powerful and amazing handsets this year, it also launched a great number of budget phones. The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 was one of those handsets that offered flagship specs for a mid-range price. The Chinese company launched the model back in September, and since then, the smartphone was available in two variants. One of them included 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the other offered the same amount of memory and 128GB storage. Now, Xiaomi is planning to release a third version, including less memory, for a smaller price, making it more accessible for many people.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage will reportedly go on sale this week, on November 23 to be more exact. It will cost approximately $45 less than the model that includes 6GB of RAM and GB internal storage. This way, the price of the new Xiaomi Mi Note 3 version will be around $300. The new version will only become available in Blue, at least at launch. Apart from the amount of memory, all the other specs of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 remain the same.
Xiaomi’s new Mi Note 3 will sport the same 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, and the 3,500mAh battery. The smartphone features a 12MP dual rear camera setup alongside a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calls. The handset offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, a USB Type-C connector, and it runs Android Nougat out of the box. Xiaomi already started rolling out the MIUI 9 software to many of its models, and the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is definitely going to get it soon. The Mi Note 3 is not a flagship device, but it is one of the best mid-range handsets one can get. The smartphone has some nice specs and features to offer, and it has a reasonable price tag.
At first, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage will only go on sale in China. It’s not clear whether the Chinese company will also release the handset in other regions. Xiaomi seems to be seriously expanding these days, with numerous new shops in different regions, so we might get the new model in other countries too. We only have to wait and see.
