If you are still considering to purchase a Google Pixel 2, despite the latest problems that have emerged, now may be the perfect time to buy one. When purchasing the handset from Best Buy, you can save $100 off its original price. Unfortunately, the price cut is only available for the Google Pixel 2, not the Pixel 2 XL, and it only regards Verizon handset. Also, you will need to sign a two-year contract in order to save $100. Basically, you can have the smartphone for a $22.91 monthly payment, for 24 months. The full retail price of the handset is $649.99. Naturally, this is the price for the 64GB version.
The 128GB variant of the Google Pixel 2 is also on sale. For this model, customers will need to pay $27.08 a month, for the same 24-months period. Considering the fact that the Google Pixel handsets launched only a few weeks ago, the price cut is rather surprising. It’s not Black Friday yet either, so the special price is even more suspicious. It’s not quite clear why the Google Pixel 2 is already on sale, and whether the price cut has something to do with the recently discovered problems or not. It could also be an indicator that the sales aren’t exactly as high as expected for this model. Then again, the Google Pixel 2 XL had better chances at great sales than the smaller Pixel 2.
For $549.99, paid over two years, customers will get a handset that doesn’t look great but has many things to offer. The smartphone comes with the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 on board and it includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It features a 12MP camera on the back and a 8MP one on the front. Naturally, one of the best features of the smartphone is that it runs the latest version of stock Android. Now, that it is more affordable, it really seems to be a nice device to own and use.
Unfortunately for those who wanted to get their hands on the Kinda Blue color version, Best Buy’s special offer doesn’t include it. Customers will only be able to choose between the Just Black and the Clearly White handsets.
