There are only a few months left of this year, however, HTC is going to launch three more handsets before it ends. According to the latest reports, the new handsets are codenamed Ocean Master, Ocean Harmony, and Ocean Lite. We could see the Ocean Master and the Ocean Lite launch in November and HTC will most likely unveil the Ocean Harmony sometime in December, just before the end of the year. Surprisingly, none of the above is the HTC U11 Life we know the company will launch running stock Android.
We do know that two of the upcoming devices will sport 6-inch displays while the third will have a smaller, 5.2-inch screen. The two larger handsets will be the Ocean Master and the Ocean Harmony. The Lite, as its name suggests, will have the smaller screen and thus the smaller body. As for the specs, all three of the handsets seem to be quite similar. We don’t know what kind of processors they will have. However, we do know, thanks to Corn Chen, that they will include 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. There will also reportedly be a version of the Ocean Master that includes 6GB of RAM and 128GB flash storage.
Even though we don’t have any other information regarding the Ocean Lite and the Ocean Harmony, Corn Chen shed some light on the cameras of the HTC Ocean Master. The smartphone will sport a 12MP back camera and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. There still are weeks to go until the launch of the first handsets. We will probably find out more about each of them ahead of the unveiling event. They probably won’t run stock Android as the HTC U11 Life will, but they could still be interesting smartphones. It’s also unclear whether either of them will come with the HTC U11’s Edge Sense feature. Rumors regarding the other features of the handsets will most likely surface soon, so stay tuned. We will let you know as soon as we hear anything new about the upcoming HTC handsets.
