Even though we usually don’t even realize it, artificial intelligence is everywhere around us. Obviously, we can find it on our smartphones, in the form of Google Assistant, Bixby, or Siri, and we can also find it numerous other places. Even Coca-Cola is planning to develop its own AI assistant. Or at least, a form of it. The famous beverages company intends on using artificial intelligence in its vending machines. This way, customers will be able to personalize their drinks, not only get whatever is on display. Basically, the vending machines will be able to add different flavors to their favorite Coca-Cola products, according to their personal preferences.
The AI Coca-Cola plans on using will also turn vending machines into more lively gadgets. Customers will be able to interact with these machines in a more personal way, and they will be different depending on where they are. Vending machines in hospitals will not be like the ones in shopping malls, for example. Naturally, vending machines are not the only ones Coca-Cola would use AI in. The company already uses artificial intelligence for social data mining, for example. Thanks to this technology, the company was able in the past to develop targeted ads, which are a lot more efficient than other types of advertising.
In the future, Coca-Cola will also use AI to create ads. Also, the company uses the technology in its production process and in marketing too. Basically, Coca-Cola knows that artificial intelligence is the future and it already uses it to the maximum to benefit from everything it has to offer. Even though some might not think of a company known for its beverages as a tech giant, Coca-Cola might just qualify as one. The company seems to know exactly when and how it should use AI technology in order to best promote its products. The popular company is always open to whatever is new and whatever its customers might enjoy. Probably this is why it still is one of the most popular companies while others slowly faded away over time.
We are eager to see what the company holds for us. A vending machine that relies on AI technology is definitely something to be looking forward to, wouldn’t you say?
