LG started sending out official press invites for the launch of its flagship device, the LG V30. The press invite definitely hints towards a great camera setup with its “Light. Camera. Action” slogan. It also confirms the launch date. We will first see the LG V30 in all its glory on August 31. The official launch event will take place in Berlin. However, LG will also broadcast it live on its Facebook page, according to the invite. Also, the invitation clearly states that the device to launch is the LG V30, and not something else.
The V30 will reportedly sport a beautiful 6-inch FullVision OLED display with curved edges. It will offer a QHD+ resolution, so it’s highly likely that it will become popular among smartphone users who like to watch videos and play games on their handsets. It’s an almost bezel- less handset, so despite its huge display, it should maintain a reasonable size. Recently, images of the handset leaked, disclosing how the smartphone will look like. While in the front there is only the huge display, on the back there is a dual rear camera setup with the afferent flashlight and laser-assisted autofocus. There is also a circular fingerprint sensor on the back cover of the smartphone.
The LG V30 is expected to sport an octa- core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The handset will reportedly include 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. We could also get a variant including 6GB of RAM and 128GB flash storage. The V30 will run on Android Nougat out of the box. While we don’t know how large its battery will be we do know that it will support fast charging. Also, it seems that the V30 will offer the latest and fastest Bluetooth 5.0. Even though in the recently leaked photos we can’t see the smartphones audio jack, it seems that LG didn’t ditch it just yet and will be there to ensure a great audio experience for its users.
There still are three weeks to go until the launch of the handset. We will probably hear more about it in the upcoming weeks. We still don’t have any information regarding the availability and the pricing of the V30, it’s highly likely that someone will shed some light on this matter soon.
