Apple’s 2017 WWDC is coming up and everybody is curious to see what the company prepared for us. Definitely, we will see some new hardware, the question is, exactly what kind of gadgets will Apple launch? According to KGI Securities analyst Ming- Chi Kuo, a 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro and a Siri speaker with a touchscreen could be two of the new gadgets. He proved to be right on several occasions before. He could be right this time also. There are only a few weeks until the WWDC debuts, so we’ll find out soon enough what Apple has prepared for us.
Naturally, at the WWDC 2017, Apple will also show off the new version of its operating systems. New iOS, watchOS, macOS, and tvOS versions will launch. But the hardware is what we are all really waiting for isn’t it? Especially if we will indeed finally get to see some new iPad Pro devices. According to Ming- Chi Kuo, we will see not one, but three new iPads. There will be a 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2, a 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro, and we will also get a low-cost 9.7-inch iPad. All of these will look a lot like previous models but will offer more processing power. They will have Apple’s latest chipsets, and they will run on the newest version of iOS.
Kuo also believes there is a high chance Apple will unveil its Siri Speaker at the WWDC 2017 in San Jose, California between June 5 and 9. The company has been long rumored to work on such a device. It should be a direct competitor for the Amazon Echo and the Google Home speakers. Samsung is reportedly also working on a Bixby speaker, so it would really make sense for Apple to join the ride with Siri. It seems to be a great market for smart speakers right now, and everybody wants a slice of the pie. The Siri Speaker is rumored to come with a touchscreen panel, so it should be a good competitor on the market. Many other smart speakers don’t yet offer a display, especially not a touchscreen one.
The WWDC 2017 will take place in only a few weeks. This means we will find out everything there is to know about the 10.5-inch Apple iPad Pro and all the other gadgets Apple will launch at this event soon. We’re eager to see what the Cupertino-based company will amaze us with.
