Lucky Mountain Games, an indie studio known for Hotshot Racing, is trying something new for its next project. Heroes of Forever, a low-poly first-person shooter for PSVR2, was announced for next year.
You’re a Time Enforcement Command agent who keeps the multiverse in order. You must travel through time and space to stop a mysterious corruption from spreading.
Inspired by 90s light gun arcade shooters, it combines simple blasting fun with pulpy action movie style. You’ll shoot bad guys with various weapons and use the environment to maximize your times and scores. It supports solo and four-player online co-op.
Naturally, it’ll use PSVR2’s 3D audio and haptic feedback to give all the weapons a unique feel.
It should be fun. It should be fun in 2024 if it’s like the light gun games it’s inspired by. Do you like Heroes of Forever?
