Today Sega gave fans of Japanese RPG’s a real treat when they revealed that Valkyria Chronicles Remaster for PlayStation 4 is heading to western shores in a near future. The remaster of the highly praised PlayStation 3 title is set to release in both Europe and North America later this spring for fans and first timers to enjoy. The game will release both in physical form and digital form.
The price for this game is also quite affordable for a PlayStation 4 title. It is going to go at $29:99 and will include all the DLCs of the former game making it a quite low and affordable experience. This remake will, in addition to including all the DLCs in one package with the game, be remastered in 1080p and smooth 60 FPS. This ensures that gamers will be able to enjoy the tale in Valkyria Chronicles as smoothly as possible. The title will also have the option to choose between English and Japanese voice acting. However, there are still no words about if the Valkyria: Azure Revolution demo which was in included in the Japanese release will also head west.
What was revealed though were some in game pictures and a trailer to go down with the announcement to hype up people for this long awaited localization of this remaster of one of PlayStation 3s best Japanese RPGs. It was also revealed that North American players who pre-orders Valkyria Chronicles will get a special edition steelbook case with the game. It will also be accessible to a limited number of launch copies, so even if you don’t pre-order all hope to receive it is not lost.
