It has been revealed that developer Evolution Studios will be adding a brand new Hardcore mode option in DriveClub. This will mean harder handling, according to the game director Paul Rustchysky.
The game mode will turn off all assists like traction and stability controls. Rustchynsky also stated that the mode will just be for cars for the time being (not the motorcycles edition). The mode will be available in both single player and multiplayer.
DriveClub had a rocky start after high hopes for the game. The game had an awful launch, and the servers didn’t function as expected. Despite the bad start, the game has managed to improve massively over time. The game has also released a motorbike edition that seems to have been met with positive reviews.
The update in February is going to be a fairly large update, and it’s good to see that Evolution Studios still want to add and improve the game. Back in December Evolution teased that they could release new urban tracks in 2016, which would be very different to the existing tracks.
