If you’ve been interested in trying out Sony’s Playstation Now service on your PS4, you’ll be glad to know the company has just announced a new subscription model for the service. Starting with the 8th of December, you’ll be able to get 12 months of full PS Now access for $99.99, meaning the regular monthly subscription price is cut down by about 55%. This is a limited time offer however, so you’ll have to move quickly. Getting a 12 month subscription like this means that the service’s monthly rate is now $8.3, which is more than reasonable, considering the vast library of games available through PS Now’s streaming service.
Speaking about the PS Now library, it has also been extended with several Warner Bros. titles, as follows:
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham Origins
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Mortal Kombat
F.E.A.R (single-player campaign)
The Lego Movie Videogae
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7
LEGO Batman: The Videogame
The PS Now service is essentially Sony’s answer to backwards compatibility, offering gamers the chance to play hundreds of PS3 classics on the PS4 through Sony’s streaming service. Sure, getting the service won’t mean you actually own any of the games, but it will give you the chance of playing them. While fans who already own most of these titles on the PS3 won’t be too impressed, it’s still a great way for those who don’t to get plenty of entertainment for the buck. More details about the limited offer deal and the newly added games can be found on the official Playstation blog.
