Despite the fact that “not much is known about his appearance,” Ryas, the mysterious protagonist of Horizon Call of the Mountain, is a master climber from the Shadow Carja clan. Of course, this is because you are the character; since you’ll be using PSVR2 to role-play as him, you’ll never actually see the character.
It makes sense that one of the character’s primary skills is climbing given that we are aware that it will play a significant role in the action of the exclusive. The blurb describes Ryas as “born to a noble Carja family, Ryas is driven and skilled, though he has lost faith in himself.” “His time as a Shadow Carja has also made him a competent fighter and machine hunter, adept with a bow, after becoming a master climber during his youth.”
Meet Ryas, the protagonist of Horizon Call of the Mountain. A former Shadow Carja with many regrets, he seeks his redemption and freedom in this upcoming adventure created exclusively for PlayStation®VR2 by Guerrilla and @FirespriteGames pic.twitter.com/V7gNd2pMIU

Ryas has kept his Shadow Carja clothing, but he has taken off all insignias and emblems. The summary continues, “He knows his past deeds, including his part in the confinement of the young Prince Itamen, will never be forgiven by the world.” He continues to work to restore his honor. There is room for growth with this character, who has an intriguing voice.
Although Guerrilla Games has confirmed that Aloy, the protagonist from the mainline titles, will make a brief appearance, this is the first time we have played as someone other than Aloy in a Horizon game. Remember that pre-orders for Sony’s new headset are currently available, and you can choose a package that includes this brand-new adventure in the box.
