After a quick tease in September, followed by the reveal of four new characters in December, a gameplay video for the next batch of Mortal Kombat X DLC will drop next week. Series creator Ed Boon dropped the news on Twitter but didn’t specify when the video will air or what the video will be about.

Boon first teased the Kombat Pack 2 DLC and four new characters back in September. The four characters were later revealed to be Mortal Kombat veteran Bo’ Rai Cho; a new cyborg character named Tri-Borg who is a combination of Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke; Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise; and a Xenomorph from the Alien franchise that has traces of Baraka’s Tarkatan DNA. Previously released Mortal Kombat DLC characters have included Tremor, Tanya, a Predator from the Predator franchise, and Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise.
Whilst the official launch date for Kombat Pack 2 has yet to be announced, it is expected to launch some time in 2016. Mortal Kombat X and the first Kombat Pack DLC is available now on PlayStation 4, XBox One, PC, Android, and iOS. We’ll keep you updated on any announcements regarding the Kombat Pack 2 DLC so stay tuned.
