As all fans of the Metal Gear Solid series know by now, much has been cut from the final release of Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain due to a variety of reasons. We don’t everything that’s been removed from the game but we know for certain that an extra story episode, Episode 51, was going to be included in the game. This episode was going to take place in a brand new area and bring closure to the Eli storyline that’s left pretty much unfinished in the final release.
A few hours ago the Metal Gear Solid V Extended Soundtrack has been released in Japan, featuring tracks taken from both the Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes. Interestingly enough, the extended soundtrack features the music from the Kingdom of the Flies episode. This doesn’t mean, obviously, that the episode is going to be released in the future, but it’s definitely interesting to see its music getting included in the definitive version of the Metal Gear Solid V soundtrack.
