Everyone is getting on the hype-train fueled by the imminent release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens globally. And by everyone, we mean everyone. It’s hard to browse the internet these days without stumbling over something Star Wars related, and even harder to avoid any Force Awakens spoilers it seems. Don’t worry though, we won’t spoil a thing here. However, it should come as no surprise that a game offering so much freedom as Fallout 4 isn’t being put to good use in the Star Wars bandwagon.
Ops_Specialist, a Youtube user and video publisher, took his time to build one impressive AT-AT settlement in his Fallout 4 game. It involves a lot of work and concrete farming, but just how impressive it is can’t be overstated. Oh, and he also made sure his character was cosplaying too, with an armor that definitely looks Star Wars-ish. You can check his impressive work in the video below:
Of course, if you don’t have the patience to build a settlement like that, there are other viable alternatives to enjoy some Star Wars content while playing Fallout 4. The next video below shows off some mods that introduce lightsabers and Darth Vader outfits to the game. The details are impressive, to say the least, so if you want to carve up some supermutants or deathclaws wielding Vader’s lightsaber, by all means, go for it. It’s the best of both worlds, after all, isn’t it?
Granted, the amount of mods available for Fallout 4 isn’t overwhelming yet, and their complexity isn’t staggering either. That’s mostly because Bethesda hasn’t released the GECK (Garden of Eden Creation Kit) yet, which is the tool they’ve used in building the game, and which they have promised to release early in 2016. The GECK will allow modders almost unlimited options in building various mods for Fallout 4, and as with most Bethesda games, modding is the way to go if you want to further enhance your experience with the game or just add some spice for replayability’s sake.
For now, if you’re still exploring Boston’s harsh world in Fallout 4, you’ll be pleased to know the 1.02 Patch for the game has been released for western markets, with the patch improving performance and fixing a multitude of bugs. That being said, most Asian players still don’t have access to the game’s 1.02 version, being stuck on the 1.0 launch version. Naturally, many have taken to social media to express their disappointment. Bethesda has not officially commented on when in the future Fallout 4 patches will make their way to Asia.
@Fallout when is the patch coming to Asia region?..you know there are people playing Fallout 4 here too right.

Bethesda will most likely release the next major update, 1.03, sometime in January, with no release date being officially announced as of yet. A game of such scale will obviously still have bugs that need ironing out, but so far we’re happy with the 1.02 version. We are eagerly awaiting the release of the GECK early next year however, and we’ll keep you updated on the matter as soon as we have any developments.
