As most of you probably already know, Blade & Soul is finally approaching its NA and EU release. These are the last steps ahead of us leading to the official launch.
Blade & Soul is a game that has kept players waiting longer than any game publisher should dare to admit, but there is a high chance that these long years might have been worth the wait. The Korean servers kicked off back in 2012 and so much has happened to the game since then, that we are either going to get all that good stuff collectively in later updates or perhaps it might even take a few years to catch up with our fellow Korean gamers.
But this article does not intend to focus on the past, instead, we would like to look into the future of Blade & Soul and its NA/EU version which will finally end the years of suffering on January 19, when NCSoft opens up the doors, and we might get to see a Black Friday-like crowd rushing in, to enjoy the wonderful world of Blade & Soul. The fourth closed beta weekend concluded on December 14, and now NCSoft is facing some pretty busy weeks ahead as the last adjustments are made. However, the fourth was not the last CBT weekend, for one more will arrive right before the actual launch.
The fifth CBT will probably focus on server stability testing to avoid disappointments during the first few days of the official launch. On January 11 Disciple and Master Pack owners will have the possibility to reserve their precious character names and also create the characters themselves. These lucky fellas will also gain access to the Head Start period that commences on January 15. We are sure that many of you already tried the game on the Russian or Chinese servers and know the drill better than casual gamers, and we can hardly wait to meet you guys in-game, starting from January 15.
