The Fire Emblem series will be making its long-awaited return to a home console this year with the release of Three Houses, which is in development for Switch. While the game isn’t set to launch until this July, Amazon has opened pre-orders for the Seasons of Warfare Edition of the game recently.
This edition of the game serves as the collector’s edition, as it comes with the base game along with an art book, sound selection CD and a steelbook case. It’s currently listed at $99.99, which is $39.99 more than the standalone game. The following is the product description from the official Amazon page:
“War is coming to the continent of Fodlan. Here, order is maintained by the Church of Seiros from its headquarters at Garreg Mach Monastery, home to the Officers Academy, where you’re invited to teach one of its three mighty houses: The Black Eagles, The Blue Lions, and The Golden Deer.”
Fire Emblem: Three Houses is set to launch exclusively for Switch on July 26th. It will be the first retail release of the series since Shadows of Valentia – Echoes in 2017, which served as a remake of 1992’s Fire Emblem Gaiden. However, it will be the first console release in the series since 2007’s Radiant Dawn on Wii, meaning that this upcoming console release is well overdue.
