It won’t be long until PlayStation gamers can get back into the swing of things with baseball, as MLB The Show 18 is out this week. Now the game’s file download size has been revealed, and will certainly require those of you with almost full hard drives to free up some space.
The standard version of the game comes in at 42.26 GB, whereas both the digital deluxe and MVP versions are slightly larger at 42.92 GB. The file size is pretty standard considering the genre, and the quality of the series more than makes up for it.

One of the game’s new features is a the batting stance creator, which allows players to tweak and alter their batting stances to mirror their own tastes.
MLB The Show 18 is developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment San Diego Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is a PlayStation 4-exclusive, with the entire series being exclusive to the PlayStation since its inception back in the 2000s. The game will release on March 27th.
