Dead Rising 4 is finally making its way to PlayStation 4 this week, which will be in the form of the Frank’s Big Package release. It comes with the base game and all of the post-launch updates and DLC, as well as some big new tweaks to make the game even better. It’s a hefty package, and now the file size has been revealed.
Viewing the listing for Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package on the PlayStation Store through the PlayStation 4 we can see that the game’s file download size is 72.14 GB. This is definitely a big file size for a game, but when considering that this a full game plus all of its DLC and updates it makes sense. Either way, if you plan on picking up this game then you’ll definitely want to make sure that you have some free space on your hard drive.
The following is an overview of the game’s features:
- Big in features. Big in content – the latest version of the Dead Rising 4 main game is included, in addition to Capcom heroes, all downloadable content, all bonus content
- Frank West returns! – The original Dead Rising protagonist and photojournalist returns 16 years after the events of Willamette, with his brand-new camera to capture those zombie selfies
- Open world sandbox – explore and scavenge the huge spaces of the Willamette memorial megaplex and surrounding town for weapons and costumes to combat the zombie Apocalypse and find extra clues
- Anything and everything is a weapon – Create your own tools of zombie destruction by crafting hundreds of potential weapon combinations, including the Bazooka Cannon, Electric Axe and the Plunger Lure
- Engaging multiplayer – play with three other friends online to complete missions and Conquer the zombie-infested Willamette memorial megaplex Mall
Dead Rising 4 launched for Xbox One and PC last year, and it ended up being a very decisive release for longtime fans of the series. The game got rid of the time aspect of the series almost entirely and focused more on the open-world zombie slaying aspect, which turned some players off. I personally loved the game and felt it was one of the strongest installments in the series yet, and will definitely be jumping back in for another go around with this new release of the game.
