It’s hard to believe that we’re already coming up on the one-year anniversary of the release of Final Fantasy 15, especially considering how long it took for the game to finally release. Square Enix has now announced that they will be holding another Active Time Report for the game, and it will be taking place on the one-year anniversary of the game’s release on November 29th.
This Active Time Report is set to look back on the game’s very successful first year on the market, as well as look at what’s to come. The company will reveal the results of the latest survey having to do with the multiplayer Comrades expansion, as well as share more information on the upcoming story DLC called Episode Ignis. The company also teases a “surprising” update that is due out next month, as well as even more news.
Episode Ignis is set to be the last story expansion that the game will receive of the originally-announced DLCs, which centers around the character Ignis. Players will take control of the character in a new story that is set during the events of the main game, shedding light on some important plot points that were not touched upon previously. He uses “spelldaggers” that can be imbued with various elements, and also has an ability called “Total Clarity” that lets him target multiple enemies and attack them at once.
Final Fantasy 15 is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but there’s still more platforms that the game is set to come to. A mobile version of the game called the Pocket Edition will be coming soon, and the long-awaited PC version of the game will be coming early next year in the form of the Windows Edition. There will also be plenty more content coming in 2018, so fans of the game have a lot to look forward to.
