The highly-anticipated Star Wars Battlefront 2 is on the horizon, with the game looking to improve upon the mixed reception that the first game got. The buzz we’ve gotten so far has been good, and now we have learned the game’s official download file size on PS4.
Unsurprisingly, the game will take up 48.44 GB of space on the console’s hard drive, which is pretty big and to be expected for a AAA release. The file size will also likely increase significantly over time, as the game receives many post-launch patches. Needles to say, be sure you have cleared out any games installed on your system that you don’t plan on playing anytime soon.
While Star Wars Battlefront 2 will bring back the multiplayer from the first game and expand upon its foundation, the big addition with the sequel is that it will feature a full-blown single player campaign. It has you “jumping into the boots of an elite special forces soldier, equally lethal on the ground and space, in an emotionally gripping new Star Wars campaign that spans over 30 years and bridges events between the films’ Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
As for the multiplayer, it supports up to 40 players that can fight as the numerous heroes, villains and more in battles that rage throughout the galaxy. It’s looking like it will be a solid step up over the first game, though we’ll have to wait and see for ourselves when it launches later this month.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition will launch on November 13, whereas the standard edition will launch on November 17.
