Fans have been waiting eagerly for the multiplayer DLC for Final Fantasy 15 called Comrades, and today the release date has officially been revealed. Square Enix announced on Twitter that the DLC will launch for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 15, meaning fans only have to wait a little over a week to get their hands on it.
As for what this DLC is all about, Comrades lets player take control of a survivor from the Kingsglaive to find out more about the disappearance of Noctis following the events of chapter 13 in the main game. Players will be able to equip royal sigils that grant special powers from the Lucian Bloodline, and then create a team to take on various quests. While there are of course multiplayer quests on offer, there will also be single player quests for those wanting to go solo.
Square Enix recently released a new update for the Xbox One version of the game, which allowed players to accept multiple quests at a time. The update also adds Xbox One X support to the game, allowing owners of the new console to take advantage of all of the additional power that it has to offer. The update that allows players to accept multiple quests at a time will come to the PlayStation 4 version of the game on November 10.
Final Fantasy 15 is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with various ports of the game currently being in development. A simplified version of the game that is called the Pocket Edition is set to come to mobile devices this year, and the long-awaited PC version of the game is set to launch early next year.
