Nioh is easily one of the best games that you can play on PlayStation 4 this year, but now we’re learning that the game is coming to a whole new audience. It has has been announced that the game will be coming to PC via Steam later this year, which will be in the form of Nioh: Complete Edition.
Nioh: Complete Edition will come with the base game and all three of the DLC packs that released for the game post launch, which are Dragons of the North, Defiant Honour and Bloodshed’s End. This appears to be a straight port of the PlayStation 4 version of the game, with no new modes or graphics options to take advantage of high end PC rigs. The two graphics modes are the original Action Mode (60fps) and Movie Mode (lower fps, higher resolution.
There will be some extra perks for those who pick up the PC version. All seven of the game’s weapon types will be available from the start of the game, and it will also include a new helmet called the Dharmachakra Kabuto. The helmet even has a valve on it, which is an obvious nod at this being a Steam release.
Nioh launched for PlayStation 4 in February, and garnered critical acclaim for its excellent gameplay. The game draws heavy inspiration from developer From Software’s Souls series, but adds its own twists to the formula to make it something that is truly unique. The PC version of the game will be launching on November 7, and we’ll be sure to bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
