Resident Evil 7 fans finally have some good news regarding the delayed Not A Hero DLC, as Capcom has given us a release date. The company revealed that it will release on December 14th, though that won’t be the only new thing that will be releasing for the game on that date.
Along with the DLC comes the announcement of a new Gold Edition of the game, which comes with the base game and all of its DLC. This includes both volumes of the Banned Footage DLC, as well a new add-on called End of Zoe. End of Zoe focuses on Zoe Baker, and will also release as a standalone DLC the same day as the Gold Edition and Not a Hero.
The Not a Hero DLC was originally set to launch in the Spring of this year, as a teaser at the end of the credits for Resident Evil 7 said as much. However, Capcom ultimately decided to delay the DLC, citing that it simply needed more time to live up to the quality of the base game. The DLC will be putting us in the shoes of Chris Redfield, and will shed some new light on the events that took place during the base game.
Resident Evil 7 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game launched in January this year to very solid reviews, and was seen by many as a return to form for the series after several missteps.
