The next Nintendo-themed spin-off of the Dynasty Warriors series is set to launch next month, with Fire Emblem Warriors set to bring its take to the recently popular mash-up formula. Despite the game getting close to launch now, we’re still learning about new roster additions and today a new one has been announced.
We have good news for fans of the Fire Emblem Fates games, as Nintendo has announced that Elise has joined the Warriors roster. The announcement was made on the Japanese Koei Tecmo YouTube channel, but the character will also be coming to the western versions of the game. The video itself is obviously in Japanese, but it still gives a good look at the character that you should check out below.
For those who are unfamiliar with the game, it is a hack-and-slash action game that stars several different characters from the Fire Emblem series. While the core of the gameplay is taken heavily from the Dynasty Warriors series, there will be many gameplay elements taken from the Fire Emblem series to make it stand out. These include the likes of the Weapons Triangle and Support Conversations.
Fire Emblem Warriors is in development for Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS, and is set to launch for both platforms on October 20th.
