Secret of Mana originally launched in 1993 for the Super Nintendo. The game follows three heroes as they attempt to stop an empire from taking over the world with the power of an ancient flying fortress. The game used real-time battles with a power bar mechanic, as well as a Ring Command menu system that lets the player make decisions in the middle of battle. The game received critical acclaim, with many praising the game’s story, gameplay and visuals.
