Ninja Theory’s new game called Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be launching next month, and now we’re learning that the game will have PS4 Pro support. While it’s pretty common for newer games to feature some kind of support for the more powerful PlayStation 4 console, they have detailed just exactly what fans can expect when playing the game on the console.
PS4 Pro players will be able to choose between an enhanced resolution or a higher frame rate, with the frame rate reaching 60fps. This is definitely a good option to have, as there are some gamers out there who prefer a smoother experience with a higher frame rate than a better resolution. It’s all personal preference really, but it’s always better to give the player the option rather than just including one or the other.
PC gamers will also be able to push their rigs to their limits to get the most out of this game, as the developer has revealed that the game has an uncapped frame rate on PC and supports resolutions up to 4K. There’s even support for a 21:9 ultra widescreen aspect ratio, for those of you who have such a monitor.
“From the makers of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry, comes a warrior’s brutal journey into myth and madness. Set in the Viking age, a broken Celtic warrior embarks on a haunting vision quest into Viking Hell to fight for the soul of her dead lover. Created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will pull you deep into Senua’s mind.”
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will launch for PlayStation 4 and PC on August 8th. A new trailer for the game was also recently released, which you can check out below.
